Falsterbo, Sweden is THE place to be if you are a nature-lover!
Falsterbo Bird Show takes place in Falsterbo, Sweden (just 45 minutes from Copenhagen, Denmark) the first weekend of September every year. Falsterbo Bird Show will be northern Europe's largest wild bird fair and show. The first event takes place September 3-5, 2010 with proceeds going to conservation. Dick Forsman and Lars Svensson are two of the internationally renown main speakers with more to come. There is wi-fi and food/drink on the premises and there will also be music entertainment, stalls where commercial exhibitors and nature organisations offer their merchandise, raffles, quizzes, displays of art and a pub. And all the time with migrant birds passing just overhead. Bird guides tell more about the birds and ringing is demonstrated. THE place to be!
